About Casa Naroo
Our newly built guest house sits high overlooking Tofo village, with panoramic view taking in the ocean, the lagoon and sunset. A 10min walk from both Tofo and Tofinho beach, it offers a peaceful retreat nestled on the dune. Each of our four bedrooms are air conditioned and ensuite with spacious hot water showers.
The open kitchen/living area features high end appliances, ample configurations of seating, and is filled with photographs of local wildlife. Each of the four air conditioned bedrooms can be configured as a twin room or a kingsize double, both with mosquito nets, though with the design of this house you can sleep without a net, as we do.
The house features beautiful exposed roof trusses giving an airy openness to the space, but closed up at night wont allow any bugs in.
The whole house is protected by an automatic voltage regulator so you don't have to worry about your electronics being fried when the power gets a bit frisky. Even though Tofo has a fantastic array of eating dens, our kitchen has everything you need to cater for a big group. If you love your juices, just ask Anastasia what fruit's available and she'll have a jug juiced for you!
Our Team
Owner
David Levack
David came to Tofo 10yrs ago after hearing of the resident Whale Shark population. Deciding that this little gem of town was quite an agreeable place, he spent the next few years working in the dive industry. This is where he met his wife Dr Clare Prebble, a Whale Shark researcher, with whom he has built their house and Casa Naroo.
Housekeeper
Anastasia
Anastasia is the amazing empregada who looks after the housekeeping at Naroo. She has an eye for detail in bedrooms and loves choosing various colour schemes for the linen. Whilst the house is occupied she will clean, and turn down beds daily, and should guests want washing done, she has a washing machine and iron which she uses with great competence! On her days off, she enjoys her church and tends to her vegetable garden, so just ask if you want some fresh lettuce and tomatoes.
